WRK studio is a photography and art direction studio based in Atlanta, GA. For this identity system, a close study of various lense diagrams and photography manuals was translated into a comprehensive identity system. The lense diagrams were abstracted and converted into graphic gestures in the otherwise black and white branding system. The logo was crafted to resemble elements of photography manual’s instruction diagrams. Lastly, GT Cinetype was chosen as the type system as it was developed from old film tin cuts. The result is a distinct, modular, and unordinary take on a photography studio’s work.
